An Active Member must have a valid EMT or Paramedic license from their state or an active NREMT or NRP certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). Nurses, Physician Assistants, and Physicians who work in emergency medicine and have a valid license are also eligible to be active members. 

Associate Member

An Associate member does not need to maintain an active clinician license and does not need to work in emergency medicine. Associate members help support the administrative functions and daily operations of the Association. Associate members may serve on committees of the Association and participate in all of its activities.
